Applied Information and Monotch have partnered to integrate Applied’s connected devices and Glance platform with Monotch’s TLEX data-sharing layer. Announced at ITS World Congress 2025 in Atlanta, the collaboration aims to enable real-time and semi-real-time mobility data exchange between vehicles, infrastructure, and service providers across Europe and the U.S. This integration will help improve traffic flow, emergency response, congestion management, and data access for transportation agencies and mobility apps.

The City of Fairlawn, Ohio is rolling out the state’s first fully connected vehicle (CV) corridor along Market Street. This smart corridor uses connected vehicle technology to enhance safety and traffic flow—prioritizing green lights for emergency vehicles and buses, improving school zone safety, and engaging the public through the TravelSafely App.

Applied Information, an ITS innovator from Georgia, is introducing satellite connectivity via Starlink to traffic infrastructure. Two Texas intersections now use Starlink to solve connectivity gaps where fiber or cellular aren’t available, and the company even demoed it with a Tesla fitted with a Starlink antenna. This move follows earlier innovations like the TravelSafely app and Glance data exchange, positioning Applied Information as a leader in bringing new tech—now satellites—into transportation systems.

The ITS World Congress in Atlanta began with engaging presentations and live demonstrations, including a tour of the Infrastructure-Automotive Technology Laboratory (iATL) in Alpharetta. At iATL, attendees saw real-time applications of connected-vehicle technologies, such as traffic signal control and emergency vehicle prioritization. Leaders highlighted how these innovations are improving traffic safety and response times, showcasing Atlanta as a hub for intelligent transportation.
