The Infrastructure Automotive Technology Laboratory (iATL) is the world’s first facility that brings together automakers, infrastructure manufacturers, connected vehicle experts, and city planners to test, refine, and deploy transportation technologies under real world conditions.
Rather than limiting experiments to simulators, the iATL integrates smart traffic infrastructure across actual streets, intersections, and transit environments to see how connected vehicle tech performs in everyday settings.
