National PTA Legislative Conference 2026
This event has passed.
Applied Information is proud to participate in the National PTA Legislative Conference (LegCon), March 2–4 in Alexandria, Virginia — an annual gathering that brings together PTA leaders and advocates from across the country to strengthen advocacy skills and take action for public schools.
LegCon focuses on the issues that matter most to children and families, including policy, safety, and community well-being. This is where advocates connect, learn from national leaders, and engage directly with members of Congress to make their voices heard.

Interested in improving safety near your school or in your community?
At Applied Information, we believe school safety starts before the bell rings. While conversations often focus on what happens inside school buildings, the journey to and from school remains one of the most critical — and overlooked — parts of student safety.
We attend LegCon to support families and advocates who want safer streets near schools, and to share how communities work with local agencies to address concerns like speeding, visibility, and pedestrian crossings. Our work centers on practical, proven tools that help drivers slow down and stay alert where students walk and cross every day.
Learn how school zone flashing beacons help reduce speeding and improve driver awareness, and explore our broader approach to smart school traffic safety.
